Accreditations Authorizations Affiliations

The Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS) is authorized by the Board of Independent Colleges and Universities of the State of Florida to grant degrees, and continues as a registered institution that awards degrees in the Independent Education Commission (IEC) of the Department of Education of Florida.

The Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS) has been accredited by peer accreditation through the Transworld Accrediting Commission International. (TACI). Peer Accreditation is a recognition of standards, policies and programs of related institutions, free of government participation. These organizations are dedicated to creating and offering a quality theological education. It is important to bear in mind that: the degree programs of this seminar are designed exclusively for ministerial vocations.

Florida Department of Education – Commission for Independent Education.

Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS), is a non-profit religious corporation authorized by the State of Florida, and an ecclesiastical educational institution authorized to operate by the state of Florida, under Section 246.084 of the Florida Statutes. According to this authorization and registration, CUTS is regulated by the State Board of Independent Colleges & Universities, SBICU. Christian Union Theological Seminary, is registered and authorized to grant degrees by the State of Florida Department of Education – Commission Independent Education.

Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS), is a non-profit religious corporation chartered by the State of Massachusetts. CUTS seeks to provide educational courses and training at undergraduate and post graduate levels, to prepare students to enter into a variety of ministerial vocations, to offer spiritual, personal, intellectual, and professional components of a rigorous theological education essential for effective Christian witness and ministerial practice. We are an institution dedicated to the preparation of pastors,and ministry leaders training for world evangelization. Seminary graduates can then serve in strategic locations, and conduct their ministries to meet the urgent mission of the church around the world; as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ in (Matthew 28:19-20).


Transworld Accrediting Commission International. (TACI)

Christian Union Theological Seminary, Inc. (CUTS) is a member of Transworld Accrediting Commission Accredited International (TACI). TACI is a professional, federally recognized, non-profit educational organization, whose philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in non-traditional evangelical educational institutions. TACI provides consulting services that enable educational institutions to comply with accepted standards of performance. This accountability is demonstrated by institutions that are accredited by TAC, having documented evidence of compliance with TACI standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty and curriculum. Christian Teacher Training Association (CTTA).

Christian Union Theological Seminary, is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers Training. Christian Teacher Training Association (CTTA). It is a national association of churches, schools, colleges and seminaries, which support the training and certification of educators and Christian teachers, to advance the highest standards in Christian education. they offer seminars; share resources, and learn about the services and programs to help develop skills and become teachers and leaders of relevant ministries, to effectively serve the Lord in the local church, Bible schools and seminaries. www.cttaedu.org


American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)

Christian Union Theological Seminary is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC); AACC has become the leading organization for professional, pastoral and lay counselors. National Association of Evangelical (NAE)

Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS) is a member of The National Association of Evangelicals. The National Association of Evangelicals has spoken as a united voice for millions of American evangelicals since 1942. This association facilitates kingdom growth and serves as a bridge between member schools and the broader evangelical community.  Association of Christian Distance Education (ACCESS).

Christian Union Theological Seminary is a member of the Association of Christian Distance Education (ACCESS). ACCESS provides leadership through resources, online community development, and promotion of various forms of distance education.  Association for Hispanic Theological Education (AHTE).

Christian Union Theological Seminary (CUTS), is a member of the Association for Hispanic Theological Education. (AETH) exists to stimulate dialogue and collaboration among theological educators, administrators of institutions for ministerial formation such as seminaries and bible institutes, and Christian ministerial students within and outside the United States. Two key objectives that inform AETH’s mission are: To promote and enhance theological education for Hispanic/Latino/Latina Americans in Bible institutes, Bible colleges, seminaries, universities, and other programs at the congregational level. To foster communication and cooperation among persons involved in Hispanic theological education, including those in bible institutes, denominational agencies, seminaries and in institutions of higher education.
